About
My path into the world of education and instructional design has been shaped by a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and a relentless passion for learning.
Before stepping into the realm of instructional design, I spent five fulfilling years as a middle school science teacher. This chapter in K-12 public education honed my teaching skills and ignited my fascination with the art and the science of instruction.
My journey into instructional design has led me through the realms of EdTech, educational publishing, and corporate instructional design, so far with particular focuses on the healthcare and medical device industries. But while healthcare and medical devices are areas I've started in, I'm always open to a new challenge or industry. I've found my niche in crafting learning solutions that transcend industries and resonate with diverse audiences.
My story is not just about my professional journey; it's a tale of unquenchable curiosity. I've always been guided by an insatiable thirst for knowledge. It's the driving force that led me from a decade-long childhood softball career to an adolescence spent mastering the guitar and drums, all so I could play my favorite rock songs note-for-note.
My education journey began in the K-12 setting and has since evolved into the realm of adult learning. I'm the kind of person who can't be content with a surface-level understanding of anything. When my curiosity is piqued, I dive in headfirst, delving into the depths of a subject. My favorite question in the world? "Why?"
